About the Class
Mid Summer is a beautiful time to focus on the full power of the sun to bring cleansing, purification and light into one’s life. Our Asana practice will draw attention to our ‘inner sun’, our storehouse of energy in the centre of the body known as Manipura Chakra. As we awaken and fan the flames of the fire within (Agni) we begin a process of purification that can help rid us of toxins in the body and mental stagnation in the mind. We will connect with our inner Warrior to promote bravery, courage and confidence not only in our Yoga practice, but in all our words and actions.
This workshop will be a mix of gentle and challenging postures, but will always have options so that all postures feel comfortable and stable for each individual.
Pranayama and cleansing techniques will be introduced for connecting with our inner power, along with long relaxation to soothe the body and mind leaving us refreshed, renewed and rejuvenated.
