Self Care through Yoga
This day workshop will guide you through simple movement practices, breath awareness and relaxation techniques that can aid in restoring health on all levels. Yoga is a multi faceted practice that can be used to treat existing ailments, whilst preventing others from ever occurring. It is a practice that can bring balance on all levels of our being, from the physical to the spiritual, but requires our dedication and persistence. Once the benefits of Yoga become known and felt by the individual, the practice becomes easier and the willingness to practice increase.
The practices today will focus on the individual. Therapeutic Yoga allows time for each person to find movements and postures that are suitable for them, and is suitable for all. We will explore how we can maintain comfort and steadiness in our body and breath, bringing balance to our nervous system, whilst gradually coaxing the mind to stay present.
