About the Class
A slow moving Yoga class to improve mobility, strength and promote relaxation and calmness.
Somatic movements are introduced to release locked tension in the body whilst improving body awareness, coordination and mobility.
Yoga postures are explored in a Somatic manner by noticing how we feel as we move in and out of postures. Some standing postures are also brought in for finding balance and strength.
Breath awareness and Yogic breathing is also introduced.
Suitable for beginners although participants must be able to get up and down off the floor.
